A SPEECH REGARDING THE AWARD AND MY INTENTION TO USE THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES TO ENCOURAGE OTHER YOUTHS.
I was elated and enchanted when my name was announced as the African Youth Foundation Youth Award winner of the year 2004. I am particularly grateful to God for his assistance towards this achievement. I believe that this success will create ways for other successes in life.
Nevertheless, this is the opportunity I have been waiting for. Opportunities that will enable me effect positive changes in the lives of the youths around me.
As an AYF youth ambassador, I hope to utilize the available resources and facilities provided by the foundation to impact a very good number of African youths those core values, knowledge, and skills that will enable them become controllers of their own destinies.
